After 1.2 years, if there are any remaining funds, they should be returned to the Natural Science Foundation of China according to the original channels.

2. If the project fails to pass the acceptance and rectification, or the credit evaluation of the unit is poor, the remaining funds will be returned to the Natural Science Foundation of China within 30 days after the acceptance conclusion is issued.

3. After the acceptance of the project, the project leader can apply to the supporting unit if he needs to continue to use the remaining funds.
