Health Poverty Alleviation Relief Fund Relief Scope and Procedure 1. Relief Scope (1) The health fund assistance recipients must meet the following conditions at the same time: their household registration is within the county; they are registered as poor people; and after enjoying the existing medical security policies, personal medical expenses

The burden remains heavy on poor patients.

(2) Assistance standards: Generally controlled between 500-5,000 yuan per household per year.

Patients with special difficulties who are provided with assistance exceeding the above-mentioned assistance standards shall be reported to the county people's government for approval before implementation of assistance.

(3) Assistance content: It mainly provides assistance for hospitalization expenses outside the scope of the policy within the county, outpatient expenses not included in the scope of reimbursement, and hospitalization expenses that cannot be fully reimbursed for medical treatment in other places according to regulations.

(4) Reimbursement process: Poor people give priority to medical treatment and implement the medical and health policy of "ten exemptions and four subsidies".

On this basis, the medical expenses of poor patients are reimbursed (assisted) according to the process of "basic medical insurance → critical illness insurance → tilted payment → medical assistance → fund assistance".
