Graduated from the Decoration Department of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (formerly Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design), majoring in book binding.

He once served as deputy director of the art department of China Youth Publishing House, and

art consultant to the United Nations Children's Fund (China).

Currently a member of the Graphic Design Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association,

Director and professor of the Graphic Design Department of the Yangtze River Institute of Art and Design,

School of Design, Central Academy of Fine Arts , Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts,

Visiting professor of the Department of Decoration Design, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
