You are participating in the basic medical insurance in Zhongshan City, and both employees and urban and rural residents can participate. The payment standard is: the employer pays 7% of the average monthly salary of employees in the city last year, and the individual employees pay 3% of the average monthly salary of employees in the city last year. Personally, supplementary medical insurance is voluntary. Whether you can enjoy outpatient treatment depends on whether your unit is kind and willing to help you pay.

The people who participate in the basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents are: urban and rural residents with local household registration in Zhongshan, and non-local household registration students in full-time universities and secondary vocational schools. But there is no such name at present. They are all called Zhongshan Basic Medical Insurance or Zhongshan Social Medical Insurance.
