Jingdezhen Online News: On the afternoon of June 12, 2008, the reporter saw the national gift blue-and-white plum vase "Yonghe" jointly created by three China arts and crafts masters, which was recently unveiled in Shenyang.
According to the relevant person in charge, plum bottles were successfully fired by three masters for three years. It is about 48.5 cm in height, 9.2 cm in diameter, 17 cm in bottom diameter and 95 cm in circumference. Produced by China National Museum, National Porcelain Office and Zhushan Painting Academy, and distributed by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, it was not only exhibited in Shenyang, but also made public appearances in Guangzhou and Shanghai.
This work adopts blue-and-white technology and plum bottle shape, and the overall shape is elegant and generous, as white as jasper. According to the aesthetic principle of "airtight, empty for horse racing" Xiong Gangru did the overall design and created with Wang. One side of the porcelain bottle depicts the Acropolis in ancient Greece and symbolizes the birth of the Olympic Games. On the other side is the Great Wall of Wan Li, which symbolizes the arrival of the Olympics from its birthplace, Wan Li, to China. The neck of the porcelain vase is painted with an olive branch wreath painted by master Sam Xiong, symbolizing "world peace"; The lower part of the porcelain vase is surrounded by cypress trees and painted by master Wang Xiliang, symbolizing the eternal Olympic spirit; The clouds and mountains in the "clear sky and rainy scene" were carefully described by the master Wang. The glaze color of its "clear sky and rainy day" determines that the national gift blue-and-white porcelain is the top grade of blue-and-white porcelain and the most beautiful color. The unique ceramic art styles of several masters have achieved perfect integration on a small plum blossom vase, which has become a much-told story in the ceramic art world.
It is understood that in the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2007, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation presented the "Permanent Peace" blue and white plum bottle as a national gift to the host country of the 17 Olympic Games for permanent collection. For a time, "Yonghe" national gift blue-and-white porcelain was praised by many people as "the king of contemporary blue-and-white porcelain".
Many ceramic experts agree that "Permanent Peace" can see the breakthrough achievements of the three masters from the aspects of modeling, porcelain and glaze color. It is not only a national gift porcelain, but also included in the "Love My China" charity sale by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and China National Museum in 2007. All the proceeds from this charity sale will be donated to China Soong Ching Ling Foundation's "Safe Mother and Baby Project" and other public welfare activities.
