Since 2005, he has been a member of the Committee of Computational Mechanics of theoretical and applied mechanics Institution in China.
He is currently a member of the International Society for Computational Mechanics (IACM) and the International Society for Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (ISSMO).
Research interests include structural and multidisciplinary optimization design, uncertain structural optimization design, structural topology optimization, micromechanics, computational mechanics methods and so on. Important achievements have been made in the fields of structural topology optimization, sensitivity analysis and optimization design of structural dynamic characteristics, and structural optimization design considering uncertain parameters.
At present, he is in charge of major research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and has been funded for another 3 years. He is also in charge of the research start-up fund for returned overseas students from the Ministry of Education, and has been funded by the New Century Excellent Talents Fund of the Ministry of Education. Responsible for completing the natural science fund project of Liaoning Province. Participate in a national 973 project and a national 863 project as a major participant.
In addition, he also participated in the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Outstanding Youth Fund, several national natural science foundations and the National 863 Program as the sub-project leader or main participant.
The national key basic research and development plan (973) project "Some frontier problems of computational mechanics and multi-field coupling in digital tools for complex equipment research and development" (20 10-20 14) has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
