1. Taiwan Province
Taiwan Province is connected with the mainland. Later, due to crustal movement, the connected part sank into the sea, forming a strait and Taiwan Province Island appeared.
Most of the early residents in Taiwan Province migrated directly or indirectly from Chinese mainland. In 1971 and 1974, the earliest human fossils in Taiwan Province were discovered twice in Zuozhen Township, Tainan County, and were named as "Zuozhenren".
Archaeologists believe that "Zuozhen people" came to Taiwan Province from the mainland 3, years ago, and they belong to the late Homo sapiens in the southern Paleolithic region of China with the same origin as "Qingliu people" and "Dongshan people" discovered in Fujian, and they all inherited some characteristics of Homo erectus in China. Among the early inhabitants of Taiwan Province, there were a few short blacks belonging to Niglito race and Langya people belonging to Ryukyu race.
2. Macao
Macao used to be a small fishing village, and its real name was Haojing or Haojing 'ao, because at that time the berth could be called "Macao". Macao and its vicinity are rich in oysters (that is, oysters), and the inner wall of oyster shells is as bright as a mirror, so Macao is called oyster mirror.
Later generations changed this name to a more elegant "Hao Jing". In the "A Brief Introduction to Macao" published during the reign of Qing Qianlong, it was said: "The name of Hao Jing is written in the History of Ming Dynasty. It's five or six miles east and west, half way north and south, and there are two bays north and south, where you can berth. Or the North and South Bay, which is as round as a mirror, is called a mirror. " From this name, a series of aliases of Macao, such as Haojiang, Haijing and Jinghai, have been derived.
Macau's name comes from a goddess of China ── Tianhou, also known as Nian Ma, whom fishermen admire very much. It is said that a fishing boat was sailing on a clear and calm day when it was caught in a storm and thunderstorm, and the fishermen were in danger.
at the critical moment, a young girl stepped forward and ordered the storm to stop. The wind actually stopped, the sea was calm again, and the fishing boat arrived at Haijing Port safely. After disembarking, the girl walked towards Marge Mountain, and suddenly a halo shone, and the girl turned into a wisp of smoke. Later, people built a temple to worship this mother where she landed.

became the territory of the Central Plains at that time from the Qin Dynasty (the Central Plains refers to the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River centered on central Shaanxi and western Henan). China promises to implement one country, two systems in Hong Kong. Hong Kong will maintain its capitalist system and original way of life, and enjoy a high degree of autonomy in all matters except foreign affairs and national defense, that is, "Hong Kong people ruling Hong Kong with a high degree of autonomy". ?
After World War II, Hong Kong's economy and society developed rapidly, becoming not only one of the "Four Little Dragons in Asia", but also one of the richest, most developed and highest living standards in the world.
