How to calculate the fund holding share?
Fund holding share = subscription amount /( 1+ subscription fee)/net fund value at the time of subscription.
For example, Fan Xiao bought a fund of 5,000 yuan before April 2 1 day (trading day) 15:00, and the subscription fee of this fund was 0, and the net value of the fund on that day was 2.5 yuan (the net value of the fund will generally be quoted by the fund company on the trading day1day or at 8: 00 the next day, which means that Fan Xiao bought it.
It can be calculated that Fan Xiao holds 5000 yuan /( 1+0)/(2.5 yuan/share) =2000.
It is worth noting that the holding shares of funds are not always the same, but will change under certain conditions. In the new subscription, new investment will inevitably bring more shares. Secondly, in the case of dividend reinvestment, the dividend amount is directly converted into the fund share, and the total share will also increase.
Although the share does not directly represent the amount, the fund redemption amount is calculated according to the fund share, fund net value and redemption fee. After the fund goes public, the net value of the fund will be updated every trading day, so the price of each fund share of the same fund is constantly changing, rising and falling.
