The deadline for the National Youth Fund in 2022 is April 2022 15. The purpose of the Outstanding Youth Fund Project is to attract and encourage overseas outstanding young scholars who have achieved good results in natural science and engineering technology to return to work, independently choose their research directions to carry out innovative research, cultivate a group of outstanding academic backbones who are expected to enter the forefront of world science and technology, and contribute to the construction of a strong country in science and technology.

Precautions for the applicant

Eligible applicants can sign a work contract or intention agreement with the supporting unit in accordance with the requirements of the project guide, log in to the information system after February 15, 2022, and fill in the Application Form of the National Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars online. The applicant is responsible for the authenticity of the application materials submitted.

The applicant shall, in accordance with the requirements of filling in the instructions and compiling the outline, fill in the application form online in simplified Chinese or English, and upload attachments and other materials. The project of Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars adopts the paperless application method, and the applicant submits the electronic application form and its attachments, impartiality commitment letter and other materials to the supporting unit online, and submits them to the Natural Science Foundation of China online after being audited by the supporting unit.
