The Pearl Class, sponsored by Zhejiang Xinhua Love Education Foundation, enrolled 30 students with excellent academic performance and relatively difficult families in Lanzhou. The school recruits 30 "Pearl Students" for Lanzhou City and 50 "Pearl Students" for Gannan Prefecture. Students admitted to "Pearl Class" enjoy the policy of free tuition and accommodation. The annual living expenses are 2500 yuan, and 7500 yuan for three years. Students admitted to two or more universities can apply for a Pearl grant of 4,000 yuan.
