Shanghai International Children's Culture and Art Festival is an international children's cultural and artistic exchange activity with the theme of "Peace, Friendship and Future", which is approved by China People's Ministry of Culture and co-sponsored by Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation, china welfare institute and Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. It is the most influential children's cultural and artistic activity in China. Up to now, it has been held for four times, and nearly 100 children's art groups from 3/kloc-0 countries and regions around the world participated in various exchange activities of the festival, which not only provided a good channel for absorbing outstanding achievements of world culture and prospering children's literary and artistic creation, but also further promoted friendship and exchanges among children, making contributions to human progress and the cause of world peace.

Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation will inherit Soong Ching Ling's idea of serving women and children wholeheartedly and selflessly in the 2nd1century, and rely on the strength of all walks of life to further carry out various cultural poverty alleviation, teaching and overseas exchange activities, so as to make due contributions to the development of women and children in Shanghai and China.
