In the real world, SCP Foundation is a collaborative novel writing project based on website community, and its articles contain many types of elements and styles, such as science fantasy, urban fantasy and horror novel.

The origin of SCP

The SCP Foundation series originated from 4chan's "supernatural" forum, and the first real SCP- 173 was released in 2007. Inspired by SCP- 173, other SCP projects appeared one after another. June 5438+October 2008 10, enthusiasts of SCP foundation created an independent wiki on the wiki farm of EditThis to publish SCP articles. In July 2008, after EditThis began to realize the payment mode, the SCP Foundation series was moved to the current wiki site.
