nuffield Research Scholarship, a scholarship program initiated by the nuffield Foundation, Let middle school students practice in the laboratory for 4-5 weeks

There are currently 8 research councils in the UK: Engineering and Physics Research Council (EPSRC), Medical Research Council (MRC), Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), Biotechnology and Biology Research Council (BBSRC), Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC) and Central Laboratory Research Council (CCLRC). Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and Art and Human Research Council (AHRC)

The activities of eight research councils include: ① "nuffield Scholarship for Scientific Research": a scholarship program initiated by the nuffield Foundation, which allows middle school students to practice in the laboratory for 4-5 weeks; ② "Residential research": Since 1997, the Research Council and Wellcome Trust Fund (the main biomedical research foundation) have been co-funded, encouraging doctoral students to have direct contact with students and teachers in primary and secondary schools; ③ Participate in the Science Week and Science Festival of the Association for the Advancement of Science. In addition, these eight councils also take their own actions in science popularization.
