The "Housing Provident Fund Management Regulations" do not provide for individual payment of housing provident fund, and naturally there are no relevant procedures for individual payment of housing provident fund in various places.
The housing provident fund is a welfare and policy savings fund. Its welfare performance is that the unit pays it at the same time as the employee at a ratio of 1:1, and all belongs to the employee. This is an important welfare.
Its policy performance is that the provident fund is used according to policy regulations, and interest is paid with regular savings roughly equivalent to three months.
There is currently no provision for individuals to pay their own provident funds. Even if they can pay, it will be the same as savings and will not play the role of the current provident fund, so it has no practical significance.
