My values-principles
Radlio, the billionaire founder of bridgewater, wrote a book called Principles. The book lists his principles of doing things and being a man for decades. Although I haven't finished reading the book, I still can't help asking myself, what are my principles? What are my core values? Instead of daydreaming, write an article to tidy it up and update it frequently.

Values are actually what is important and what is the most important for a person. Simple questions are also the most difficult to answer. When values are impacted, they often change. But no matter how difficult it is, I decided to answer it first.

My core values are four points:

1. In this uncertain world, death is the only thing you can be sure of. So it must be a beacon to guide your every decision. Jobs said, "Remember that you will die. This is the best way I know to avoid falling into the trap of thinking that you will lose something. Someone already misses you. There is no reason not to follow your heart. " I couldn't agree more.

2. I don't believe in teleology, but I believe in existentialism, that is, human existence itself is meaningless, and it is your personal choice that brings meaning to life. Therefore, if you want to live a meaningful life, you must make your own choices and don't live in the expectations of others. The meaning of life is to be yourself.

Thinking is the simplest and most important thing in the world. Only thinking can broaden our horizons. No amount of reading and traveling without thinking will bring about any qualitative change. I think, therefore I am.

Life has many latitudes. Any imbalance in one aspect may cause regret at the end of life.

I attached a taiji diagram to these four values. The so-called Tai Chi gives birth to two instruments, two instruments give birth to four images, and four images give birth to gossip. Taiji diagram says, "One life two, two lives three, three lives everything". The same is true of core values, which affect a person's secular desires and all decisions. 1 2 is about life and death, with death as a beacon, living towards death and looking for the meaning of life. 3 is an "open source" process, a closed system will definitely reach entropy death, and thinking and learning are good medicines to fight against aging and rigidity. 4 is a more specific principle, the so-called extreme brightness and moderation, a happy life must be able to balance multiple latitudes.

In the following paragraphs, I will list my principles for each latitude, and I will update my principles at any time. Although these principles are derived from the four core values, they can help me make a quick decision like a shortcut.

undertaking

1. If you are rich, you can help the world; If you are poor, you can be immune to it.

2. Do one thing and love another. Work is never just a tool to make a living, it must be given more meaning.

Self - realization

1. Growth is the ultimate need. Whenever you start to compare with others and feel superior or anxious, please remember this. Make progress every day

2. Reading and traveling. This is not entertainment. But to enter other people's world and broaden their horizons. The view is amazing. It tends to get bigger and bigger, but once it stops, it will get smaller and smaller, and finally it can't even hold a grain of sand.

3. Do things with compound interest effect. For example, practice speaking, writing and English.

4. Failure is not the antonym of success. Mediocrity is. Learn to fail, tear yourself apart and rebuild.

domestic

1. When dealing with family conflicts, relationship is always more important than right and wrong.

2. Spend enough attention (not money) on your partner. Let her feel love and tolerance.

3. Although relatives are close, there are boundaries. For example, parents can suggest things about small families, but they can't interfere. Respect, but don't blindly follow.

4. Always keep in touch with the elderly. There will be fewer and fewer opportunities to get along.

health

1. Regular exercise can not only make people healthier, but also play the role of "returning blood", reducing stress and restoring attention.

2. Meditation is a spiritual practice. Go deep into emotions and realize "color emptiness". This is not only good for my health, but also makes me more calm.

You must have a physical examination every year.

4. Eat less processed food, the closer it is to the natural form, the safer it is.

interpersonal relationship

1. If you want others to help you, be a useful person first.

Listening is more important than speaking.

3. Trust, but repay those who break their promises.

4. invest in people who may become nobles in the future.

5. Remember old friends and people who are kind to you.

6. Being able to see the good in others.

destiny

1. Although wealth is important, it has the lowest priority among all latitudes. It is not worth sacrificing any of the above latitudes for wealth.

2. Investment is long-term, so don't be tempted by short-term fluctuations. We should have the awareness and preparation to never touch the money invested.

3. Create a cash flow generating system. Get rid of the mode of exchanging time for money as soon as possible.

4. Want assets, not liabilities. Only assets can bring positive cash flow.
