1, Panzhihua Special Zone is located in the southwest of Sichuan Province, at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan. Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture is adjacent to the east and north, and Yunnan Province is adjacent to the west and south. It is the name of the old division and has been renamed Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province.
2. 1965 The newly-built steel city in China was first established as a special zone, and later changed to Dukou City, and 198 1 was renamed Panzhihua City.
3. Panzhihua City is located in the southern edge of the mountains in southwest Sichuan and the northern part of the western section of Yun Ze Plateau. The mountains are continuous, the valleys are deep, and the overall terrain is very complicated. The terrain inclines from northwest to southeast, belonging to the semi-dry climate in the south subtropical zone, with abundant sunshine, warm winter and cool summer, four seasons like spring, obvious vertical climate change, and clear rainy season and early season.
4. There are Ertan National Forest Park, Panzhihua Cycas National Nature Reserve, Haita, Longtan Cave, sarcophagus burial group, Xiawan Ruins, Hongge Hot Springs, Guan Sheng Palace and Guanyin Cave in Panzhihua City.
