The basic old-age insurance for urban and rural residents is an important part of the social security system, a GSP and welfare social security undertaking, a collective name for the new rural and pastoral social endowment insurance and urban social endowment insurance, and a social security system to ensure the basic livelihood of the elderly.
At least 16 years old (excluding students at school), the staff of non-state organs and institutions and urban and rural residents with household registration in Kailu County, who are not included in the basic old-age insurance system for employees, can participate in the old-age insurance for urban and rural residents in their household registration.
The procedures and materials for urban and rural residents to apply for insurance registration are as follows:
1. Upload valid ID, home page of household registration book and my page through Internet service channels such as login website, self-service terminal and mobile application, and fill in the Registration Form of Basic Old-age Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents;
2. Carry valid identity documents and household registration books, and handle them through offline service channels such as village (neighborhood) coordinators or township (street) offices where the household registration is located or county-level social security agencies. Township (street) office staff or village (neighborhood) coordinators shall take photos and upload relevant information or report relevant materials step by step according to the prescribed time limit.
Article 11 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) * * * The basic old-age insurance shall combine social pooling with individual accounts. The basic old-age insurance fund consists of employers, individual contributions and government subsidies.
Article 12 The employing unit shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium according to the proportion of the total wages of employees stipulated by the state and record it in the basic old-age insurance pooling fund.
Employees shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium in accordance with the proportion of wages stipulated by the state and record it in their personal accounts.
Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees who have participated in the basic old-age insurance shall pay the basic old-age insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations and record them in the basic old-age insurance pooling fund and individual accounts respectively.
