The National Art Fund is a public welfare fund which is mainly funded by the central government and accepts donations from natural persons, legal persons or other organizations according to law. The National Art Foundation focuses on four directions: creative production, publicity and promotion, collection and talent training, among which artistic creation is the focus of the fund. The National Art Foundation has set up a council, a management center and an expert committee in organizational management. Compared with other types of funds in the humanities field, art funds have the characteristics of diversity, openness, extensiveness and complexity. Compared with other similar government funds, art funds break the restrictions of system, industry and region, and have the characteristics of openness and universality. They are open to the whole society and can be declared by state-owned, private, public institutions and individuals.
