Taiwan Chongde Cultural and Educational Foundation was established in 1986. It is a non-governmental charity organization that has been promoting Chinese culture, youth education and regular social education for many years, especially the promotion of pre-Qin Confucian and Taoist classics.
The foundation has created many lively activities that teach students individually, combining reading ancient poems, chanting scriptures, and reading ancient precepts with real life, youth, and social education, attracting tens of thousands of people to participate.
The foundation first launched youth Bible reading conference activities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, creating a feat of 30,000 teenagers reading the Bible at the same time through cross-strait connections. The foundation also promoted this work to Chinese societies in North America and Southeast Asian countries through its own volunteers, and also provided counseling
Foreigners read the Bible.
What is particularly valuable is that in the context of the Taiwan authorities' desperate pursuit of "de-Sinicization" and the implementation of cultural and educational policies that suppress the promotion of Chinese culture, the foundation has remained unwavering and persisted in carrying out public welfare activities to promote Chinese culture.
