Gravity Center has a group of scientific research groups which are mainly young people with high academic qualifications, combine theory with experiments, have certain interdisciplinary advantages, are full of vigor and have considerable practical work experience, and can undertake difficult scientific research projects. In 22, it was rated as an innovative research group by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and in 24, it was granted continued funding. In recent ten years, Gravity Center has won more than 3 vertical national scientific research projects, including 2 973 projects (project chief and supporting units) of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the total scientific research funds in recent five years have exceeded 6 million yuan. At present, the Gravity Center has a total of more than 6 people, with a fixed establishment of 22 people (including 1 academician, 9 professors, 7 doctoral supervisors, 3 associate professors, 7 technicians and 3 postdoctoral students), more than 3 doctoral students and more than 1 master students. Gravitation Center was supported by the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars for one time, won 1 national excellent doctoral theses for two times, and was selected into the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education for three times. In 2 and 26, it won the first prize of Hubei Natural Science twice, and the reed accelerometer developed during the tenth five-year plan period successfully carried out the flight test on satellite.
