1. National level. Awards awarded by the Central Committee (the State Council). Including National Natural Science Award, National Technological Invention Award, National Science and Technology Progress Award, National Highest Science and Technology Award, China People's Award and China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award; Outstanding Achievement Award of the National Social Science Fund Project issued by the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and National Excellent Teaching Achievement Award issued by the Ministry of Education.
2. Provincial and ministerial level. Ministerial Award refers to the award-winning achievements awarded in the name of the central (the State Council) ministries and commissions. Provincial awards refer to awards awarded in the name of the governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Such as provincial natural science award, provincial science and technology progress award, provincial technological invention award, provincial social science outstanding achievement award, provincial social science fund project outstanding achievement award, provincial teaching achievement award, provincial mountain entrepreneurship award, etc.
3. Bureau level. Bureau-level awards refer to awards issued by provincial (ministerial) committees, offices, bureaus, departments and municipal governments.
(2) Social Power Award. Refers to all kinds of associations, societies and national foundations at all levels to organize reviews and awards.
The Social Forces Science and Technology Award is approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and incorporated into the Social Forces Science and Technology Award managed by the National Science and Technology Awards Office (subject to the latest announcement on the website of the National Science and Technology Awards Office). Scientific and technological achievement awards established by national first-class societies, professional societies and research associations (refer to the catalogue of international first-class societies and associations for details) can be determined by referring to departmental achievement awards.
