Article 129th of the Civil Aviation Law

The limitation of liability of international air transport carriers shall be implemented in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) The liability limit of each passenger is 16600 units of account; However, the passenger may agree with the carrier in writing that the liability limit specified in this item is higher.
