Subsidies for landless peasants:

1. Compensation for loss or withdrawal of homestead: It is reasonable to compensate farmers whose homestead has been expropriated, but in addition, many areas are also trying to compensate farmers who voluntarily withdraw from homestead. At present, many areas are experimenting, and the compensation standards vary from place to place, mainly depending on the local economic and social development level, ranging from hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands of yuan. This part of the compensation mainly depends on the wishes of farmers, those who are willing to quit enjoy subsidies, and those who are unwilling to quit are not compulsory;

2. Compensation for withdrawing from the contracted land: Many rural people have moved their registered permanent residence out of the countryside, or worked outside all the year round, but the land in their rural hometown is still there. In order to make the land not waste and play its role, many areas have begun to implement the policy of paid withdrawal of contracted land. If rural farmers give up withdrawing from contracted land, they will get some economic compensation, but this policy is still in the pilot, and there is no unified compensation standard at present. According to the current situation, the standard is 50,000 yuan per mu, which is equivalent to 666.67 square meters per mu;

3. Old-age subsidy for landless peasants: The so-called old-age insurance for landless peasants refers to a security system set up by the state to protect the old-age of peasants whose land has been requisitioned according to law. The endowment insurance fund for landless farmers is mainly composed of two parts: the overall fund and the individual account fund.
