Not all securities companies are state-owned enterprises. At present, the number of China's securities companies exceeds 100, which is numerous and complicated. At least half of the securities companies in China are state-owned and controlled by central huijin, Ministry of Finance, local ministries of finance and state-owned enterprise groups. A few securities companies are composed of private fund-raising.
