What is the future development prospect of shipbuilding industry?
From the perspective of the whole industry, the main reason for the continuous progress of shipbuilding industry is the rapid development of global shipping industry. At present, the Baltic Sea Composite Index, known as the barometer of the global bulk shipping industry, has exceeded 7,000 points, up 103% compared with the same period last year. Since 2000, the index has increased nearly five times. The sharp rise in the maritime index has made shipping companies throw out booking plans to expand their capacity. According to statistics, from the beginning of the year to August 7, four of the seven domestic shipping listed companies have issued plans to buy bulk carriers, totaling 365.438+10,000 tons, with a transaction amount exceeding 6,543.802 billion yuan. Among them, the shipbuilding plan of China Shipping Development (quotation, information) includes four ore carriers with a load of 230,000 and 12 bulk carriers with a load of 57,300, with an investment of nearly 5.8 billion yuan. It can be seen from the ship purchase plans of listed companies that the improvement of the prosperity of the shipping industry has begun to be transmitted to the upstream shipbuilding industry. The data shows that the orders and profits of China shipbuilding industry maintained a substantial growth in the first half of this year. According to the statistics of the Shipbuilding Industry Management Office of the Science, Technology and Industry Committee for National Defense, the shipbuilding completion, new ship orders and hand-held ship orders increased by 43%, 165% and 107% respectively from June to June this year, and the new ship orders exceeded the total orders received last year. It can be seen that the domestic shipbuilding industry still maintains rapid growth. As far as the future is concerned, the author thinks that the shipbuilding industry in China still has the conditions for rapid growth. The main reasons are as follows: First, the shipping boom will still shift to the shipbuilding industry. At present, the global shipping demand is still increasing. The steady growth of the world economy and the rise of China, Indian and other emerging markets will support the shipping industry to maintain a high degree of prosperity. It is predicted that the future growth of iron ore and coal transportation based on the "China factor" will keep the global dry bulk transportation at a growth rate of about 5% in the next three years. Therefore, the prosperity of the shipping industry will inevitably continue to promote the increase in the purchase of ships by shipping companies. Second, the funds raised by the return of high-quality shipping stocks will also be invested in capacity growth. China Ocean Shipping (Quotes, Information) recently landed in A-share 148438+0 billion yuan, of which about 6 billion yuan will be used to purchase 12 new container ships; In addition, CSCL will also start the plan of returning to A shares in the second half of the year, and the raised funds are expected to be used to build container ships. In fact, the ship purchase plan mentioned above is only a superficial phenomenon to promote the shipbuilding industry to become stronger. If analyzed from a higher angle, we can find that the most fundamental reasons for the prosperity of China shipbuilding industry come from three aspects: First, the prosperity of the global shipbuilding industry is still high. Changjiang securities's research report shows that the peak of the world shipbuilding cycle, which lasted for five years, is far from over due to the continuous lengthening of the global shipbuilding cycle. At present, the global high ship price orders have been ranked as 20 12, and it is estimated that the global shipbuilding industry will continue to prosper in 20 15. This shows that the overall environment of the global shipbuilding industry will continue to improve. Second, the shipbuilding industry conforms to the national industrial policy. At present, China is in the middle stage of heavy industrialization, and heavy industries such as petrochemical, steel and shipbuilding are bound to be the focus of industrial policy development. In the 11th Five-Year Plan, the shipbuilding industry has been explicitly listed in the outline of the five-year national development plan for the first time, and the government has taken the revitalization of the shipbuilding industry as the next development focus of the equipment industry and China's marine strategy. According to the shipbuilding plan of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, by 20 15, the total shipbuilding volume will reach 24 million deadweight tons, accounting for 35% of the world market share, ranking first in the world in terms of tonnage and becoming the largest shipbuilding country in the world. Thirdly, the transfer of global shipbuilding center to China has also brought new development opportunities to China shipbuilding industry. Shipbuilding is a labor-intensive, capital-intensive and technology-intensive industry, which has obvious characteristics of transfer between different regions of the world. Judging from the history of world shipbuilding, the international shipbuilding base began to shift from Western Europe to Japan in 1950s and to South Korea in 1970s. In 2005, China ranked second in the world shipbuilding industry, surpassing Japan. I believe that in the next five years, China will become the largest shipbuilding country in the world.
