In order to implement the spirit of "Opinions of Fujian Provincial People's Government on Reducing the Cost Burden of Enterprises" (Min Zheng [20 16]2 1) and effectively reduce the human resource cost of enterprises, it is decided to reduce the unemployment insurance rate of the whole province in stages. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. On the basis of lowering the unemployment insurance rate of the whole province from 3% to 2% in 20 15, the unit contribution will be further lowered by 0.5% from May 20 16, that is, the specific proportion of the contributions made by the employer and the individual is: the employer will pay the unemployment insurance premium according to 1% of the total monthly salary of the employees who have established a labor contract relationship with it.
