Why does it take several days to redeem the fund?
The reasons for the slow redemption of funds are:

Off-exchange funds only have a net value every day. After the close of the day, their net value can only be known after the statistics of fund companies, the audit of custodian banks and the audit of regulatory agencies. After knowing the net value, the system will confirm the total redemption amount. Therefore, it takes one day for the general share confirmation, and another day for capital settlement after confirmation. Under normal circumstances, for domestic open-end funds, the general funds redeemed by investors before three o'clock will arrive on T+2.

If it is a QDII fund, it usually takes 4-7 trading days to get the account, because it needs currency exchange; Funds purchased in banks or securities companies have a relatively long redemption time because the fund shares are not confirmed so quickly.
