The fund qualification examination can take subject three first and then subject one. There are three subjects in the fund qualification examination, among which subject I, Fund Laws and Regulations, Professional Ethics and Business Standards, subject II, Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Funds and subject III, Basic Knowledge of Private Investment Funds are optional subjects.

Candidates who have passed the two subjects of the fund qualification examination may apply to the relevant financial institutions for the qualification of registered fund practitioners with the qualification certificates of the two subjects.

Fund sales organizations engaged in fund promotion, fund sales information management platform system operators and private fund managers can apply to China Asset Management Association for fund qualification registration through subjects I and II, or subjects I and III.

Employees of publicly offered fund managers, fund custodians, securities and futures asset management institutions and fund service institutions (including fund sales, share registration, valuation, investment consulting, evaluation and information technology system services) may apply to China Asset Management Association for fund qualification registration through subjects 1 and 2.
