It is used to encourage outstanding students from aerospace institutes and families with financial difficulties to carry out scientific research and innovation practice activities to help China's aerospace industry. In response to the spirit of the 19th National Congress, Qi Ming Public Welfare Foundation helped China's space industry. Since 20 16, Qi Ming Aerospace Scholarships have been established in seven schools, including Harbin Institute of Technology, National University of Defense Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xi Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Sichuan University, to encourage outstanding students from the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and students from poor families to carry out scientific research and innovative practice and help China's space industry.
