Article 5: Qualified applicants should apply to the Education Section (Group) of our embassy (consulate) abroad between September 1st and October 31st each year and submit relevant application materials.
Article 6 The Education Section (Group) of each embassy (consulate) stationed abroad shall conduct a qualification review and preliminary review of the applicant’s materials.
Article 7 The list of recommended candidates determined by each education department (group) after the preliminary review will be published on the website of the education department (group) of the embassy (consulate) abroad for ten days to listen to the opinions of all parties. The finalized recommendation list and recommendation materials shall be submitted to the China Scholarship Council before December 20 of each year.
Article 8 The China Scholarship Council hires experts to form a review committee to review the recommended candidate materials, and the review results will be publicly announced on the website of the China Scholarship Council.
Article 9: After submitting the evaluation results to the Ministry of Education for approval, the China Scholarship Council will notify the relevant education offices (groups) of the embassies (consulates) stationed abroad.
