The "Xinqing" studio of the Institute of Physics was established during the year. Each class has added psychological committee members, specially invited two psychological counseling teachers, and invited the "Rainbow Sister" of the city radio station to give a professional psychological counseling lecture, which helped more than 50 students get rid of emotional misunderstandings such as homesickness, lovelorn, weariness of learning, inferiority, loneliness, insomnia, bad temper and tense relationship between teachers and students.
In the year of helping the poor students, the sports school gave 7200 yuan in grants to more than 70 people, reduced tuition fees for more than 20 people by nearly 30,000 yuan, donated1150 yuan to the municipal love foundation, visited poor families, and donated 4 100 yuan to three poor students, including Su Jiang, for Tangqiao in Lishangpei Town.
Social Practice and Campus Activities During the year, the sports school organized young volunteers to do good deeds in nursing homes, labor communities and cultural palaces, and built mutual aid societies with Hyatt Hotel, Chashan Police Station and Fuxing Village Committee. The Youth League Committee organized many voluntary blood donation activities. Organize students to visit Changzhou detention center, a warning education base, and guide students to learn, understand and abide by the law. Organize "May 4th Love Rhyme" singing contest, grade debate contest, safety short play contest, and "Kyushu tries its best" large-scale campus cultural activities. Physics school won the first and second prizes in the fun sports meeting and the speech contest of "Women Heroes" held by Tianning District Government.
Establishing an off-campus supervision mechanism During the year, the Institute of Physical Education invited industry experts and corporate celebrities to set up a school professional construction steering committee, and hired members of democratic parties such as Qian Daqing, Cui Wenhua and Duan as supervisors of the school's party style and clean government construction. In April 2007, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Changzhou Tourism School, Changzhou Materials School and Changzhou No.3 Vocational High School were integrated into Changzhou Tourism Business Higher Vocational and Technical School. This school is the key construction project of Changzhou municipal government in 2006-2007. The new campus is located in Changzhou National High-tech Development Zone, covering an area of more than 330 mu, and will be officially opened in September this year 1 when the new school year begins.
