Many times, the trend of these indexes is consistent with the trend of the funds we buy, that is to say, when these indexes can rise, most of the funds we buy can also rise, because for these indexes, they can reflect the trend of the whole market, and the funds we buy are also part of the market, so there is a great probability that their trends are basically the same.

For some people, when they buy the corresponding funds, they will find that the trend of their own funds is different from that of the whole market, so it is very likely that the funds they buy, the fund managers behind these funds, and the stocks they buy are not among the sample stocks of these indexes, that is to say, the stocks they choose are relatively unpopular, so in this case, the stocks they buy are likely to have little to do with the trend of the whole market. More importantly, for the whole market, the sample stocks they choose do not represent the whole stock, so to this extent, for some stocks, they have little relationship with the whole market when making corresponding price changes.
