He is a member of the presidium of Chaozhou CPPCC and Guangdong Dramatists Association. Now he is a member of Chinese Dramatists Association; Chairman of Chaozhou Dramatists Association; Winner of "Lifetime Achievement Award" of Guangdong Chaozhou Opera Foundation; President of Chaozhou Qushe; Consultant and host of Chaozhou Radio "The Voice of China Opera".

1996 and 1999 were respectively awarded as advanced workers in Guangdong province and the whole country, and attended the national commendation meeting held in Beijing.

Since taking office, he has composed music for nearly 100 performance dramas (festivals) and recorded and published them for many audio-visual companies at home and abroad. Among them, the main works "Seven Days Red" and "Yichun" won provincial awards, "Miss True and False" won regional composition awards, and "Eighteen Gifts" was one of the performances of "Shen Mei" in Zhang Yihuang.

From 65438 to 0996, China Drama Publishing House published Selected Works of Chaozhou Opera and Comments on Chaozhou Opera, and then published several sets of Selected Albums of Chen Karaoke, which were widely sung at home and abroad.

In 2003, the Chen Peng Chaozhou Opera Singing Works Seminar was jointly organized by Guangdong Dramatists Association, Guangdong Chaozhou Theatre and Chaozhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

In 2005, Guangdong Dramatists Association, Shantou Dramatists Association and Guangdong Chao Theatre held learning activities for young actors to inherit traditional plays. I took part in teaching and won teaching prizes and medals.
