From 65438 to 0985, Tzu Chi volunteers living in various countries expanded their Tzu Chi work overseas, gathered local caring resources and promoted tasks such as helping the needy. At present, 39 countries in the world have Tzu Chi branches or liaison offices.

Since 199 1 Tzu Chi started its overseas rescue mission due to cyclone in Bangladesh, by the beginning of 2006, it had helped 6/kloc-0 countries around the world, spanning five continents: Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

Tzu Chi's assistance is based on the spirit of respecting life and affirming humanity, transcending politics, race, religion and region, and goes all out to meet the needs of disaster areas and Tzu Chi's ability. Increase the hope of life for people who have suffered disasters.

From the extreme cold in the Arctic Circle to the tropical heat, Tzu Chi volunteers have traveled long distances, waded through mountains and rivers, risked diseases and wars, and completed arduous tasks again and again with the belief that "something must be done." In addition to material assistance, it also encourages the victims to help each other, promote self-reliance and rebuild their homes in the disaster areas. I hope that in the future, when they have the ability, they can also give back to the international community and form a global village full of love.
