Recently, Acfun (hereinafter referred to as Station A), a Chinese two-dimensional barrage video website, suddenly posted on Weibo saying: I want to live another five hundred years!
After multiple tests, it was found that the official website of Station A was indeed inaccessible, and the app client could not be opened and the display was blank.
It is understood that the server of Station A is provided by Alibaba Cloud and will expire at 12 o'clock in the evening on January 31. If it fails to renew, the server will automatically shut down.
Station A was established in June 2007. It is the earliest barrage video website and two-dimensional community in China. On the road of development, Station A has not been smooth enough.
In recent years, it has been surpassed by the latecomer Bilibili (Bilibili), and the gap is getting wider and wider.
Public data shows that as of October 2017, Bilibili has more than 150 million registered users, more than 100 million video views per day, and more than 10 million original submissions.
However, the actual daily activity of Station A in November 2017 was only 1.6 million.
It was previously reported that Alibaba's Yunfeng Fund intends to acquire more than 20% of the shares in Station A with a valuation of about 1 billion yuan. In addition, Heyi Group, which was also owned by Alibaba, Alibaba will acquire more than 50% of the shares.
Holding station A.
But to this day, the financing has still not been finalized.
An employee at Station A said on Weibo that as of January 31, Station A had been owed wages to its employees for three months. Nearly 200 employees had been owed wages for November and December 2017, and their overtime pay for October had not been paid.
The social security contributions are paid by the employees themselves.
