The Korea Research Institute of the National People's Congress is located in the China People's University Special Zone, which trains global young leaders.

Under the direct care and guidance of President Chen of Renmin University of China and President richard levin of Yale University, the Institute is a public welfare higher education and research institution jointly promoted by the two universities, with outstanding alumni, Mr. Chairman of Capital and several founding directors.

20 1 1 On April 23rd, 2008, under the initial initiative of President Chen, the National People's Congress Research Institute started its establishment and development. Mr. richard levin, President of Yale University, Professor Feng Huiling, Executive Vice President of China Renmin University, and Mr. Zhang Lei, Chairman of Gaoling Capital jointly unveiled the Korea Research Institute. John Thornton, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brookings Institution, Li Yanhong, Wahaha Zong, Li Zekai, Tian Guoli, Chairman of Bank of China, Liu, Deputy General Manager of China Investment Corporation and CEO of CITIC Fund, and more than 60 celebrities from business and politics attended the ceremony to witness the establishment of the Institute.
