The Legend of the Kapok Tree
In very ancient times, far away, there was a mysterious island unknown to people.
Many purple kapok trees grow on the island, and they sprout and grow purple leaves intermittently. On the ground are endless clusters of rose petals. On this island, there is a crystal clear blue lake. Legend has it that as long as you find a crystal bottle hidden on the island, take it to the Pharaoh to remove the seal, and then fill the crystal bottle with blue lake water. Save a life.
On the island, you can’t see the scorching sun, nor can you see the starry night sky and the drunken moon. There is always a purple sky, and soft feathers are like clouds covering the sky on the island. In the evening, the dreamlike feathers will be squeezed together and then pressed very low, and the glowing night elves will be entangled in the feathers and fly around the island, like beautiful flying luminous lights, covering the entire island.
It turns out that there is an ancient kingdom on this island called the Elf Kingdom.
The elves of the elves always emit the same purple color as the kapok tree, which will last until they die. The elves will wrap their bodies around the kapok tree, letting their spiritual energy nourish the kapok tree, making it grow stronger and more prosperous. However, some of them died because of it. But why do they love and admire the kapok tree so strangely?
It turns out that as early as more than 10,000 years ago, there existed such a terrible legend among the beautiful elves.
The ancestors of the elves grew up on the land of the island, and they did not glow at first. At that time, the elves were still a weak race on the island. They were often harassed and attacked by other different racial groups. They were displaced, and elves were constantly being sacrificed. They had no home. From then on, in order to allow their race to continue to thrive on this island, they began to work hard to build their own elven kingdom. Later, with their bravery, tenacity and constant battles, the elves became increasingly powerful, defeated other races brilliantly, and drove away all races living on the island. From then on, the elves lived like a dream in their own home, on the beautiful island where they were born. However, just when they were enjoying a peaceful, healthy, happy and beautiful life in the kingdom, they did not know that after the defeated race left, they lurked many terrible thorns with venom underground.
The days passed like this, and the purple flowers of the kapok tree on the island were like glue and paint in the air, lingering and loving. They used fluffy and lovely cotton to cushion the king's head, and used their slender and noble heads to support the king. The leaf stems serve as the queen's hairpins. The flowers of the kapok tree grew more and more day by day, and became more and more beautiful day by day. Finally, even the land and sky on the island were dyed purple.
Finally, a terrible day that caught the elves off guard happened on such a beautiful day. The poisonous thorns in the underground grew out of the ground overnight. Most of the nightingales that sang with their voices and the mermaids that came out of the sea to dance at night were killed by thorns. Venom splashed on the walls of the castle, on the rubble, and on the king's body, and pools of blood piled up in the mills and in the rooms of the elves. The Elf King walked onto the high wall protecting the city, holding his staff with trembling hands. Before he could look or speak, he fell to the hard ground. All the elves were stabbed to death by poisonous thorns in a huge and terrible pool of blood. The kapok trees on the island were also poisoned by the venom of the thorns and turned into dry branches. Terrible thorns have covered the entire elven homeland, but kapok trees, which are in harmony with the elves, are still floating in the air. Some of them are in the deepest corners of the island, some from half the cliff, and all over the purple purple island. The kapok trees all flew to the Elf Kingdom, gathered together and intertwined. In an instant, the sky above the island turned into a huge purple fireball. The strong liquid splashed into every corner of the island, covering the entire kingdom, and all the poisonous thorns were covered. The fireball thick slurry was destroyed.
The elves in a pool of blood and the king who fell on the high city wall were penetrated by the strong light of the fireball, and their arms and necks turned green. They suddenly woke up from death, green. The light miraculously healed their wounds and gave them magical powers to heal themselves. Then, the purple kapok that gathered together disappeared without a trace in an instant, and everything on the island returned to the same state as before. It seemed that a nightmare from which one could not wake up was staged on the island. It was so terrifying and frightening after waking up. From then on, the elves' bodies emitted purple light, and the beautiful kapok no longer existed, leaving only the bare and lifeless kapok tree.
In order to commemorate this terrible disaster and to forever protect these kapok trees that brought them back to life and returned to their beautiful homes, the elves entangled themselves in the kapok trees day and night, and put their spiritual energy into them. All dedicated to the withered kapok tree. I believe that one day the kapok tree will continue to grow, grow beautiful flowers, and protect this beautiful homeland belonging to the elves.
