Zhangjiajie, formerly known as Dayong, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province. Located in the northwest of Hunan, in the middle and upper reaches of Lishui River, it belongs to the hinterland of Wuling Mountain, with a total area of 95 16 square kilometers. Baofeng Lake is an important part of the World Natural Heritage, the World Geopark and the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie, and it is the first batch of national 5A-level tourist areas. It belongs to a lake-type natural scenic spot which combines natural landscape and cultural folklore in Zhangjiajie landform.

9. Yuan Jiajie

Yuanjiajie, located in the north of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, is a mountain terrace. Backed by the rock peak, facing Gu Feng, it extends from east to west.

10. The first bridge in the world

"The First Bridge in the World" is a natural stone bridge, located near Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot and Shadaogou Scenic Spot in Zhangjiajie, and it is the essence scenic spot in Zhangjiajie. Nature is ingenious, placing a natural stone slab about 4 meters thick on the top of two peaks to connect the east and west peaks.

Introduction of Zhangjiajie tourist attractions

Jin Bianxi: Located in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, it is named after Golden Whip Rock, with a total length of 57 10/0m. Jin Bianxi is the most beautiful border of Wulingyuan. After entering from the entrance of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, walk about 300 meters to the entrance of Jin Bianxi. The main scenery includes drunken Lohan, Condor Guard Whip, Golden Whip Rock, Huaguoshan, water curtain cave, Split Mountain to Save Mother, Thousand Miles Meeting, Nanmuping and Simen Surrounding Water.

Yang Jiajie: Located in the west of Zhangjiajie City, adjacent to Tian Zi in the north and Yuanjiajie in the west, only ten kilometers away from Zhangjiajie Forest Park, it belongs to the management of Zhonghu Township in Wulingyuan. The steep cliff is over 1000 meters above sea level and is one of the four core tourist attractions in Zhangjiajie. Among them, WulongZhai, Air Corridor, Tianbofu, Mishima Ghost Gate and Bandit Nest have been included in Zhangjiajie's classic tourist routes.

Yuan Jiajie: Located in the north of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, it is a pearl embedded in the core scenic spot of Wulingyuan. According to legend, Yuan Jiajie's name originated in the late Tang Dynasty. After the failure of the Huang Chao Uprising, the imperial court put up posters everywhere to catch thieves. At that time, Huang Chao had a soldier named Yuan. In order to avoid being hunted down, he went to live in seclusion in Qingyan Mountain, a deep mountain. He lived in a built house, cultivated land to grow grain, and named it "Yuan Jiajie" after his own surname.

Yaozizhai: The scenic area is surrounded by cliffs, and most of the scenic spots are shrouded in mist, which is very suitable for adventurers. The main scenic spots in this area are Tianqiao, Eagle Mouth, Chinese dove flower, Manglietia patong, Jade Rabbit and Moon Watching. Along the way, you can also watch the butterfly tree, "one mother gives birth to nine children" and other strange trees. The round-trip distance is about 10 km.
