Counterfeiters use unfermented tobacco leaves, cigarette leftovers, or tobacco leaves from a single area to make their own cut tobacco. There is no formula, and some cut tobacco is dyed, so the quality of cut tobacco is poor. The outer packaging uses waste or poor printing quality packaging materials, hand-made or uses outdated equipment eliminated by production enterprises. Most of these fake cigarettes are in the packaging style of middle and low-grade brands, and the manufacturing process is obviously rough and easy to identify.

Machine-made counterfeit cigarettes

Most of these fake cigarettes are counterfeit famous products and high-grade cigarettes, which are basically smuggled cigarettes abroad or illegally produced by domestic "underground cigarette factories". Counterfeiters use more advanced wrapping equipment, and the quality of wrapping packaging is not obviously different from that of genuine products. It has a complete technological formula and a good taste. This kind of fake cigarette is difficult to identify, which is very harmful to famous brand cigarette products.

Counterfeit cigarettes in different packages

Counterfeiters use low-grade cigarettes with the same packaging specifications, remove the original outer packaging, manually replace them with higher-grade brands, sell them at high prices, and charge inferior cigarettes with inferior quality and low quality. Some put fake cigarettes in the same box or a box with a mixture of fish and pearls. Some famous brands in China, such as Hongtashan, Yuxi and Dahongying, have their own unique marks on packaging trademarks, tipping paper, aluminum foil paper and cigarettes.

The color printing of some cigarette packaging and decoration patterns adopts gravure printing, and you can feel the concave and convex feeling with your hands. Fake cigarette fonts are printed smoothly without unevenness.

Check false mark

In recent years, the use of anti-counterfeiting technology to print anti-counterfeiting marks on their own products has become an effective measure for self-protection of famous products manufacturers. At present, there are hundreds of anti-counterfeiting labels on the cigarette market in China, and many genuine cigarettes use anti-counterfeiting labels. Introduce some of them:

1, the transparent paper of the cigarette box plays a role in preventing the cigarette from getting wet and losing moisture and flavor. There are generally two kinds of strip transparent paper for genuine cigarettes: one is BOPP biaxially stretched polypropylene, and the other is PVDC, that is, BOPP coated with polyvinylidene oxide. The two transparent films have high transparency, good surface gloss and smooth hand feel.

3. There are cables on the packaging of the transparent paper of the cable box, which is also called pulling tape. Authentic cigarette machine is small, the thread ends are regular and symmetrical, and the width is appropriate. The font strokes printed on the cable are clear and symmetrical, and the coloring is firm.

Transparent paper packaging for fake cigarettes: Some fake cigarettes have no drawstring. Generally, there are steel wires without small machine cuts, and the width of the uvula at the end of some steel wires does not match. Some colors are not firm, the font strokes are incomplete, and the font size spacing is uneven. Some characters printed on the drawstring do not agree with the manufacturer's meaning.
