"Baiyunbian" liquor has won the Silver Award in the National Liquor Quality Competition as early as 1979, 1984 and 1989. In October 1991, Baiyunbian Liquor was identified by the Ministry of Light Industry as a typical representative of the national thick sauce and flavor liquor with its unique style of "elegant aroma, rich and coordinated sauce, thick and sweet, round and long". In 2006, "Baiyunbian" won the title of "Top Ten Competitive Brands in China's Liquor Industry", and the dual-flavor Baiyunbian liquor was officially recognized as the representative of Chinese dual-flavor liquor by the China Food Industry Association. On March 1, 2007, the dual-flavor Baiyunbian Liquor obtained the qualification to use the pure grain solid-state fermentation mark. On May 28, 2008, "Baiyunbian" was recognized as a "well-known trademark" in China. On April 14, 2009, the National Standard for Thick Sauce and Flavor Liquor (GB/ T23547-2009) was approved by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration Committee, and was officially implemented on December 1, 2009. In addition, Baiyunbian Liquor has also won more than 90 international and domestic awards, such as "the best tasting wine", "the most representative cultural wine", and China's "well-known liquor product". The company has now passed the quality management system ISO9001:2000 certification and annual audit. The products are sold throughout Hubei Province, Henan, Hunan, Jiangxi, South China and other regions, with a production and sales rate of more than 98%, and are deeply loved by consumers.
In 2005, in accordance with the requirements of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government for the "one master and three modernizations" of county economic development, Baiyunbian carried out the property rights system reform of "withdrawing state-owned shares and implementing private ownership and private operation". Since the restructuring, Baiyunbian has adhered to the business policy of being market-oriented, efficiency-centered, quality-based, and people-oriented. The company's main economic indicators have maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 30%. The amount of taxes paid ranked first among industrial enterprises in Jingzhou City for three consecutive years, and it was awarded the "Top 100 Most Integrity Taxpayers in the Province" and entered the top 100 enterprises in Hubei in 2010. The rapid growth of the Baiyunbian wine industry has driven the development of the local packaging and printing industry, glass products industry, logistics industry, feed processing industry and related upstream and downstream industries in Songzi. In 2009, Baiyunbian Liquor Industry Cluster was selected as a key industrial cluster in Hubei Province.
In order to comply with market demand and accelerate the pace of enterprise development, Baiyunbian officially launched the Baiyunbian Industrial Park project on May 18, 2007. The entire Baiyunbian Industrial Park is divided into three major projects: the first is the new brewing base in Baiyunbian, which is adjacent to the existing enterprises and is located on the east side of the Second Ring North Road in the city; the second is the original "fourth phase project" base in Baiyunbian; the third is the "six major projects" in Baiyunbian Center (i.e. packaging center, logistics center, marketing center, technology center, administrative center, service center)" base is located in Songzi Economic Development Zone. The Baiyunbian Industrial Park project implements an overall plan and is implemented step by step. Following the completion and commissioning of Baiyunbian's new brewing base in September 2008, the brewing capacity was successfully doubled, and the joint workshops No. 1 and 2 of Baiyunbian Packaging Center were completed and put into operation in September 2009, doubling the packaging production efficiency and packaging into pieces of wine. The production capacity has reached 15 million pieces, and the company's comprehensive production capacity has doubled as a result. The dream of 850,000 Songzi people to "rebuild a Baiyunbian" for many years has finally come true. The implementation of the Baiyunbian Industrial Park project has enabled the company to achieve 50,000 tons of high-quality raw wine reserves, 5 billion yuan in liquor sales revenue, and practice the concepts of "industrial tourism" and "ecological brewing" to form "One River (Songjiang) and Two Parks (Old Factory Area)" The corporate structure of Baiyunbian Brewing Ecological Park and the new factory area Baiyunbian Cultural Tourist Park) has laid a solid foundation.
In order to further expand the original wine production capacity, Baiyunbian relaunched the original fourth phase of the technical transformation project that was suspended in 1993, and implemented another technical transformation and expansion in accordance with the principle of "maintenance, construction, and production at the same time" . In late August 2010, all 26 classes expanded in batches were put into production. After doubling the production capacity, an additional 5,000 tons of raw wine output was added every year, making it the largest high-quality solid liquor production enterprise in the province.
Through technological transformation and expansion, Baiyunbian has not only doubled its production scale, but more importantly, the company has achieved production functional divisions, production equipment updates, and technical equipment upgrades. Baiyunbian now has the largest reserve of raw wine in Hubei Province, a first-class liquor production environment, a first-class packaging production line, a first-class blending automation control system, first-class analysis and testing equipment, and an industry-leading corporate technology center.
On August 9, 2010, the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, together with the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial State Taxation Bureau, the Provincial Local Taxation Bureau, and Wuhan Customs jointly issued a document (Efa Gaoji [2010] No. 897) to announce: Hubei Baiyun The technology center of Bian Liquor Co., Ltd. is the 16th batch of enterprise technology centers recognized by Hubei Province.
Facing the future, Baiyunbian will focus on the goal of "building a century-old brand and building a 10-billion group" and plans to invest 2 billion yuan during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period to successively launch the third phase of Baiyunbian Industrial Park and Sichuan Foundation. A number of major projects, such as the expansion of the wine base, the East-West Lake Logistics Park, and the Wuhan Corporate Headquarters Building, support the company's new round of development. Through a series of strategic investments and advantage expansion, Baiyunbian will further consolidate and develop Baiyunbian's "number one brand of thick sauce and flavor liquor" and advance strongly into the first square of China's liquor industry. The brand Baiyunbian originated from a poem by Li Bai, known as the "Poetry Fairy" and "Jiu Fairy" in my country. In 759 AD, Li Bai took his younger brother Li Ye and his friend Jia to Dongting in autumn. They went up the river and stopped at the mouth of Hukou (in today's Songzi City) at night. They took in the vast scenery of Dongting 800 miles away, drank local wine, and wrote impromptu "The autumn waters of South Lake are smokeless at night, and you can ride the current straight up to the sky. You can borrow the moonlight in Dongting, and buy wine by the white clouds on your boat." Baiyunbian got its name from this. Due to its excellent product quality and outstanding corporate reputation, the market recognition and product reputation of Baiyunbian brand have continued to rise. In 1991, 1996, 2000, 2002, and 2005, it won five consecutive awards. It was recognized as a "Famous Trademark of Hubei Province" by the Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce for the first time. In May 2004, the assessed value of the Baiyunbian brand reached 165.61 million yuan. In June 2008, "Baiyunbian" was judicially recognized as a "well-known trademark" in China.
