The 32 brand companies selected from mainland China are: Sinopec, State Grid, PetroChina, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile, China Life, China Southern Power Grid, China Construction Bank, China Telecom, Bank of China, Baosteel Group, Sinochem Group, Agricultural Bank of China, Bailian Group, FAW Group, China Railway Engineering, COFCO, SAIC, Minmetals, China China Railway Construction Corporation, China Construction Corporation, Dongfeng Motor, Ocean Shipping, Lenovo Group, Haier Group, China Netcom, CNOOC, Communications Construction Group, Shougang Group, Anshan Iron and Steel Group, Ordnance Industry Group and China Unicom. The selected brand companies in Hong Kong, China are: Cheung Kong Holdings and Jardine Matheson Group. The selected brand companies in Taiwan are: Hon Hai Group, Formosa Plastics Group, Cathay Financial Holdings, Asustek Computer, Quanta Computer and Chunghwa Telecom. The relevant person in charge of the World Famous Brand Conference said that the main criterion for inclusion in the list of the top 500 world famous brands is based on the brand's performance in various aspects such as operation, management, and brand promotion in the past 10 consecutive years.
