Arrested for selling fake "Bingdundun"

On November 23, 2021, the Dongyang Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Zhejiang Province, based on the clues of the Jinhua Municipal Bureau case, investigated a company involved in the case in accordance with the law. The production workshop was inspected and it was found that the company's production workshop contained 77 30cm "Bingdundun" pieces, 7 50cm pieces, and 1,000 pieces of "Xuerongrong" semi-finished products, which were the mascot logo of the Beijing Winter Olympics. . Some of the products produced by this company are sold online through the online platform "Fei***", and some are sold through Yiwu Si* Daily Necessities Co., Ltd. registered on another online platform. According to the Olympic Symbol Protection Article, the company’s behavior is the production and sale of mascots that infringe the exclusive rights of the Olympic symbol. The Shijingshan Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau filed a case on December 8, 2021, and detained the legal representative of the company and the legal representative of Yiwu Si* Daily Necessities Co., Ltd. in accordance with the law on January 1, 2022.
