Since 2003, the company has begun to implement its external expansion strategy, established two branches in Kuqa and Kashgar, and fully acquired the state-owned enterprise Xinjiang Pamir Cement Co., Ltd. The company’s newly built 1,500t building in Kuqa /d new dry process clinker production line was put into operation at the end of 2006, and the newly built 2500t/d new dry process clinker production line in Kashgar was completed and put into operation in January 2009. In 2010, the company built a new dry-process cement production line in Aksu headquarters with a capacity of 4,000t/d, which is currently the largest single-line production capacity in Xinjiang, and a supporting 12MW low-temperature waste heat power generation system. It was completed and put into operation in January 2011.
The company has built a 4,000t/d new dry-process cement production line in Kashgar City and Yecheng County, Kashgar City respectively, which were completed and put into operation in August 2011. In addition, a new 5,000t/d dry process clinker production line is being built in Kezhou, Kuqa and Hotan. It is expected to be put into production in the spring of 2012.
