What is the process of trademark registration in Singapore?
1. Submit: Submit an application for trademark registration to Singapore Trademark Office.

2. Formal review: a review conducted by the Trademark Office after receiving an application for trademark registration. The review mainly includes the following parts: the review of application documents, the review of trademark pattern specifications, clarity and necessary explanations, and the classification review.

3. Inquiry: After the formal examination is passed, the Trademark Examiner of the Trademark Office will examine the appearance and pronunciation of the trademark in the application to determine whether there is a previously applied trademark or a previously registered trademark that is the same or similar to it under the classification of similar goods or services.

4. Substantive examination: After the inquiry stage, the trademark in the application will enter the substantive examination, and the examiner will examine the trademark in the application to ensure that it is within the scope permitted by law.

5. Announcement: If the Singapore Intellectual Property Office finds no problems when examining the applicant's Singapore trademark application, the applicant's Singapore trademark registration application will be published in the Singapore Trademark Gazette. Anyone can raise a trademark objection to the application for trademark registration within 1-3 months after the application is made public.

6. Approval of registration: During the announcement period, if the trademark has not received any objection or been challenged but the applicant wins the case after the objection is answered, the trademark shall be approved for registration and a registration certificate shall be issued.
