The emblem consists of a walking stick of Shang God and a golden key fork. The walking stick of Shang God represents international trade, and the key symbolizes that the customs will protect the motherland. The emblem symbolizes that China Customs carries out entry and exit supervision and management according to law, safeguards national sovereignty and interests, promotes foreign economic and trade development and scientific and cultural exchanges, and guarantees socialist modernization. Article 3 The Customs and its staff shall respect, cherish and correctly use the national emblem and its patterns in accordance with these Measures.
Non-customs units and non-customs staff shall not use the customs emblem referred to in these Measures. Article 4 The customs emblem may be hung in the following places:
(1) Customs at all levels;
(2) Customs supervision places at entry and exit ports;
(3) Places where the Customs holds important meetings and activities;
(4) customs colleges;
(5) Other places where the General Administration of Customs deems it necessary to hang the customs emblem. Article 5 The customs emblem shall be erected and hung in the center above the main entrance of the customs, in the center above the rostrum of the meeting place or in other prominent positions, and its background color shall be solemn and solid.
No damaged, defiled or substandard emblem shall be hung.
The emblem should be properly kept after hanging. Article 6 The following items may be marked with the official emblem:
(1) Business documents, seals and signs issued by the customs;
(2) Customs officers' law enforcement certificates or identity documents, such as investigation certificates, inspection certificates and work permits;
(3) Signs and accessories on customs uniforms;
(4) Customs vehicles, ships and special equipment;
Articles used by the customs in official activities, such as certificates, certificates, prizes, envelopes, stationery, pictures, business cards, gifts, etc. ;
(6) Books, newspapers, periodicals, audio-visual products and other works published, photographed and printed in the name of the Customs;
(seven) other articles that the General Administration of Customs considers that the emblem pattern can be used. Article 7 The emblem and its design shall not be used for:
(1) Decoration and identification of trademarks, advertisements and commodities;
(2) furnishings, articles and decorations for daily life (except gifts given by the customs in official activities) and other non-customs articles;
(3) Publications, printed matter, audio-visual products and other works published, printed or produced in the name of an individual;
(four) other articles that are not allowed to use the emblem pattern as stipulated by the General Administration of Customs. Article 8 Upon the decision or approval of the General Administration of Customs, the customs may use emblems, signs or patterns composed of customs emblems and other patterns. Article 9 The customs emblem and its design shall be made by the designated units of the customs in accordance with the standards stipulated in the Instructions for Making the Customs Emblem of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Instructions for Making the Customs Emblem of China attached to these Measures. Article 10 The customs has the right and obligation to supervise and inspect the use of the customs emblem.
If the customs or customs staff do not use the customs emblem and its design according to the regulations, the customs at a higher level or the customs at the same level shall order them to make corrections within a time limit; Those who refuse to make corrections within the time limit shall be given administrative sanctions by the customs.
Non-customs units and non-customs staff who use the customs emblem as mentioned in these Provisions shall be ordered by the local customs to make corrections within a time limit; Those who refuse to make corrections within the time limit shall be submitted by the customs to the relevant departments for handling according to law. Article 11 These Measures shall come into force as of July 6, 1997.
