How to identify Moutai?

Recently, some Maotai friends have reported that they don’t know how to identify Moutai liquor by looking at the bottom of the Moutai bottle. Xiaojiu carefully summarized the characteristics of the fake Moutai bottle bottoms in the National Liquor Appraisal App and compared them one by one with the authentic Moutai. If there are any deficiencies, please correct them.

1. The five-star pattern in the middle of authentic Moutai has sharp edges and clear marks, making it easy to distinguish. The grains of wheat ears scattered around are large and small, and the grains are full. On the contrary, the five-star pattern of counterfeit products is very rough, with blurred edges and corners, weak three-dimensional effect, and the wheat ears will be connected into one piece. All in all, a comparison between true and false will make a judgment call.

2. Look at the letters W and M

The letters W and M on the real Moutai bottle are round and smooth, and the connection in the middle of the letters is short and in the shape of a "concave", which makes it easy to touch. The touch is very comfortable. The length of the joint between the two letters of Fake Moutai and both sides are basically the same, and the font is thin.

3. Look at the letter spacing between MOUTAI and CO

Careful friends will find that the spacing between MOUTAI and CO on the left side of the authentic Moutai in the picture below is wider, which is obvious to the naked eye. The distance between fake Maotai is very short, and it looks like they are stuck together.

4. English abbreviation

The English letters at the bottom are actually the English translation of the company name. "CO., LTD" means limited company. The second dot is actually a comma but it is not obvious. The distance between the letter C and the circle is very narrow, and the overall letter is shiny and has thick lines.

5. For the whole box of wine, there are four markings on the bottom of the Moutai bottle: small square, MB, CKK, and AHB. If you find that the labels on the bottom of a whole box of wine are different, you should pay attention. Because most of the fake wines are recycled bottles and packed manually, it is difficult to unify the bottom labels.
