The meaning of the Starbucks logo is to use its beauty to symmetry itself. The Starbucks logo is the "Starbucks Siren (Seren)". The resolution of the Siren in the market is still very high. So much so that the team needed to carefully consider her personality. With this in mind, the designers asked the question: who should the sirens be?
Literally, the Siren is the face of Starbucks. "Should she be more natural and passionate? Should she look confident? Or should she be ghost-like and mysterious?" Gianna recalls adjusting just one inch of her features to create a dramatic change in her personality. "After discussion, we decided to give her a mysterious and charming temperament, which is also the Starbucks image we want to retain."
The team sharpened every detail into an absolutely perfect corporate logo. Later, the design team realized they had gone too far. Designer Birdsall said: "We don't want her to be as perfect as Barbie or other personalized brands. Siren should be more worldly, with some fireworks, and this "worldly" is not derogatory. ”
So the designers began to reconsider transforming her. They added some more rounded details to her and softened the edges. After the finished product came out, the Starbucks design team finally realized a core problem about geometry: Her beauty defines symmetry itself.
