There are many brands of compound fertilizers on the market, with large manufacturers and small manufacturers flooding the market. Whether we choose a small factory or a well-known brand, many farmers are not sure, and the price is also very expensive. A pack of better compound fertilizers costs almost 200 yuan, which is ridiculously expensive. It’s okay to be expensive, but it would be more depressing if you buy fake fertilizer.

A pack of better compound fertilizers costs almost 200 yuan, which is ridiculously expensive. It’s okay to be expensive, but it would be more depressing if you buy fake fertilizer.
Currently, the top fertilizer companies are:
Sinochem Fertilizer, Yuntianhua, Yangfeng, Sakfu, Wengfu, Stanley, Jinzhengda, Shike Feng, Xinlianxin, Jiashili, Luxi Chemical, Sirte, Hubei Yihua, Batian, Lutianhua, Kailin Fertilizer, Jinyimeng, Liuguo, China Agricultural Materials, Yanqiao, Sichuan Meifeng, Sanning Chemical, Hongsifang, Tianji, Fengxi Fertilizer, etc.
Which brand of these fertilizers have you used?
This time of year is the peak season for fertilizer demand, but I learned from agricultural supplies stores that many farmers have already begun to purchase urea or compound fertilizers at this time in previous years.
However, many farmers have postponed their purchases this year and have to wait until the reserve fertilizer is available before making a decision. The reserve fertilizer must be cheaper than this fertilizer. If it is expensive, it will not be cost-effective.
As for which compound fertilizer is better, I personally think there is not much difference, as long as you don’t buy fakes or fertilizers with stolen content.
However, for farmers, it is really easy to buy fake products if they do not identify them carefully. Wasn't this type of fertilizer exposed in the past two years, which harmed many farmers? This kind of fertilizer means that no matter what kind of fertilizer you buy, it is the same fertilizer, but the packaging bag has been changed.
For example, if we buy a compound fertilizer with a content of 45, he will fill it for you in a packaging bag marked with a content of 45. If you want 3 compound fertilizers with a content of 17, he will fill it with a bag containing 3. A 17-mark packaging bag will be filled for you.
If you want fertilizer from Hebei, he will fill it for you in packaging bags with the Hebei origin logo. In fact, these are all the same fertilizer.
When we started using this fertilizer, its shortcomings were not obvious. Because there must still be some nutrients in the soil, and when the seeds germinate and grow two leaves, the nutrients mainly come from the seed embryos.
When problems arise in the later stages, farmers may think that there is a disease or that it is time to topdress. In fact, it is this kind of unqualified fertilizer that causes defertilization in the later stage, resulting in yellow seedlings and thin, weak plants that are not resistant to lodging and cannot supply nutrients, resulting in a decrease in final yield.
1. So how to distinguish the authenticity of fertilizer?
First of all, it is recommended to buy some big brand fertilizers. Big brands may drive up prices or hoard, but the quality is still the same. No problem.
When we buy fertilizer, we must pay attention to the packaging bag. As long as the following content is on the packaging bag, there is basically no problem.
1. We can check whether the trademark on the packaging bag has the R logo. If not, don’t buy it.
2. We know that in addition to nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, compound fertilizers also add some auxiliary materials or fillers. We also need to take a look at this. Whether the active ingredients are clearly labeled, whether the implementation standards are correct, as well as the factory address and phone number, etc.
3. In addition to looking at the outer packaging, we also need to look at the fertilizer. The size of good compound fertilizer particles is relatively uniform and the hardness is also very strong. Moreover, we need to break one into pieces to see if the color of its cross-section is consistent from the outside to the inside. If the overall consistency is consistent, it means that the compound fertilizer is of higher quality. Otherwise, the craftsmanship will be inferior!
2. Don’t buy the following fertilizers no matter how cheap they are
The higher the price of fertilizers, the more fake fertilizers will become prevalent, and some criminals will take advantage of the low prices. to attract farmers to buy.
Farmers think they have found old stocks, but in fact they are out-and-out fake fertilizers. Don’t be fooled!
1. When we buy urea, whether we buy white ordinary urea or colored urea, we must pay attention to the execution label
At present, the execution standard of urea must be National standard GB2440-2017, and the nitrogen content must be ≥46 on the packaging bag. Don't buy anything without these two signs. It's a small thing to spend money, but it won't be worthwhile if it harms the crops.
2. When we mix fertilizer with urea, diammonium phosphate and potassium chloride, we must buy large particles of urea and products from regular manufacturers of diammonium phosphate.
The packaging must have the identification and implementation standards for diammonium phosphate, national standard GB10205-2009, and the total content is 64. Among them, the nitrogen content is 18 and the phosphorus content is 46.
This is a standard. If there is no diammonium phosphate labeled as such, we should not buy it to avoid being fooled.
3. There are many products on the market that add additional ingredients, such as humic acid, various trace elements, etc.
However, we must remember that when we buy chemical fertilizers we mainly buy nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Total nutrients refer to the sum of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. If there are additives, they are also included in the total nutrients, so it is best not to buy them.
Of course, it is not impossible to use it. Some fertilizers can indeed work. However, as a base fertilizer, we must add it ourselves again to see if the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium can meet the demand.
4. Potassium fertilizer is relatively expensive this year. The price of potassium chloride at the station has reached 4,300 yuan. Those who are cheap must pay attention. They can't sell it to you at a loss!
When we buy potassium fertilizer, we must pay attention to it. We must buy potassium oxide with the label K2O. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium nitrate, and potassium chloride that we commonly use all have the K2O logo. You must not buy them without them.
5. Don’t buy fertilizers labeled HAK or KOM. These are fake fertilizers, so don’t be fooled.
6. We should not easily try new fertilizers recommended by acquaintances or agricultural product sales staff. Even if they are good, we do not need to be "guinea pigs". The effect is good and it will be sold in the second year. It is not too late for us to buy again.
In short, fertilizer is very expensive this year. We can wait to reserve fertilizer and see how much it costs. From the perspective of raw materials, the price of ammonium chloride has increased by 500 yuan per ton compared with last year, the price of ammonium phosphate has increased by nearly 1,000 yuan per ton compared with last year, and the price of potassium fertilizer has also increased by about 1,000-1,500 yuan per ton.
As the price of raw materials rises, compound fertilizers cannot be cheap. We should not be greedy for cheap and buy some inferior fertilizers.
