Chamber of Commerce membership fee standards and management measures

Legal analysis: (1) Group membership of the China Trademark Association

1. Ordinary unit members pay RMB 5,000 per year;

2. The governing units pay each year 20,000 yuan;

3. The executive director unit pays 50,000 yuan each year;

4. The vice-president unit pays 100,000 yuan each year.

(2) Individual membership

Individual members do not pay fees for the time being.

2. Collection of membership dues

Membership dues are the main source of funding for various activities of the Association, and each member unit is obliged to pay dues.

(1) The fiscal year for membership fees is from January 1 to December 31 of each year. Association members should pay their membership dues for the current year between January 1st and December 31st each year and remit them to the association’s designated bank account.

(2) New members who are approved to join the Association shall pay the membership fee for the current year according to the payment standards stipulated in Article 1 of these Measures within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the membership notice.

(3) If members do not pay membership fees, they will be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Articles of Association of the China Trademark Association".

The term "collective trademark" as mentioned in this Law refers to a mark registered in the name of a group, association or other organization for use by members of the organization in commercial activities to indicate the user's membership in the organization.

The term "certification trademark" as used in this Law means that it is controlled by an organization with the ability to supervise certain goods or services and is used by units or individuals other than the organization to certify the goods or services. The origin, raw materials, manufacturing methods, quality or other signs of specific quality of the goods or services.

Special matters concerning the registration and management of collective trademarks and certification marks shall be stipulated by the industrial and commercial administration department of the State Council.
