Tongrentang was founded in 1669 and has a history of 348 years. Beijing Tongrentang is a well-known time-honored brand in the Chinese medicine industry across the country. Founded in 1669 (the eighth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty), it began to offer imperial medicine in 1723 and lasted for 188 years through eight generations of emperors.
